Casa Jumanji Menorca

From the wild character of the jungle to a house of great aesthetic care.

In Menorca, this classic nineteenth-century house built in Marés stone was found by the studio's founders in a state of ruin, overgrown with vegetation as if reclaimed by a jungle after decades of abandonment. Two years of intensive restoration were needed to return the shine to its hand-painted frescoes and hydraulic tiled floors.

Now known as Casa Jumanji, the house keeps its essence while fusing the family's Germanic-Egyptian heritage, present in their personal collection of African art, with Bauhaus pieces sourced by Quintana Partners. Design objects, works of art and vintage furniture bring a note of timeless elegance. Casa Jumanji is a duality: wild and refined, historic and personal.
