Casa Mina

It was the studio's first major project in Menorca: reviving a 550 square meter English period manor house, with Marés stone, sash windows and hydraulic tiles with an austere facade and a spectacular interior garden. First, it was necessary to consolidate the structures given the poor condition of the building due to bombing during the Spanish civil war. Afterwards, the original layout was maintained as far as possible, bringing to light original elements hidden during the renovations. On this aged shell, Quintana Partners made its debut designing elements that mark the personality, such as the copper fireplace or the orange Hermès sofa in the living room or the swing-bed in one of the bedrooms, which blend in perfectly with the space. Living room, games room, six bedrooms and five bathrooms where the seventies alternate with British touches, one of Quintana’s main hallmarks.
